The lake view is very good, we can spend few mins to enjoy the flow of water, this lake is in the way to gagan chuki falls, can take few pictures as well, the surroundings are filled with lot of trees, mornings and evenings are best.

It is a river canal. While going to Barachukki falls from Gaganchukki on the way you will find this canal. Nothing great about this. You can stop before/after the bridge and click few photos.

The time when we got there was perfect for thanking nice pictures. The canal has greenary on both sides and is the right spot to take some cool pics. It's on the way to barechukki falls after you visit gaganachukki falls.

Awesome place to visit. It's 130 KM's from Bangalore and takes 3.5 hrs drive. Road is not the best but work is progressing. The pic is taken at the peak of rainy season. And there is no place where you can go near the falls and get wet. Just enjoy the view.

Not much to do as area is restricted to get near fall due to safety concerns. It's just a water fall spot too see from far. Hotels near by are expensive around 3000 per night, definitely not that work to stay there. Just do a day visit.

Due to heavy rains all around the falls are at its prime. Best time to visit. However fencing at places is not the best. One must be careful about that.

Asia's first Hydroelectric Power Generating station.....this is were KGF and Bangalore first got its electricity from......the station and all its buildings still maintain their old world charm, the trolly ride down to the main station is breathtaking...(but tourists are not allowed there without prior permission ..... which has to be obtained well in advance..and is difficult to get).....

During our childhood we were allowed to have a look at the power generation unit. It is one of the to see if you are interested .
