Shiv Shakti Cafe - Cafe in Rishikesh, Sakalana - Tehri Garhwal, India

Through my stay at Shiv Shakti yogpeeth I ate at the Cafe numerous times. I must admit it was the best food I had while traveling in India. The selection of food is generous, so everyone will find their favorite dish. What is the best about their food is that they use high quality ingredients from local markets and farms so the food is always fresh. Also, in comparison to the other restaurants I tried, they use less oil and their hygienic standards are very high, so you don't have to be afraid of feeling bad after eating. Staff is very accommodating and always care about your best experience. If you get a chance to visit this beautiful cafe in the middle of nature with a breathtaking views, surrounded by waterfalls, please don't hesitate, you will feel like home.

Beautiful peaceful nature location Food was tasty and perfect People were friendly and awesome Highly recommended They also have rooms and cottages Road gets steep and rough the last 300 meters so most will want to park at the waterfall or earlier but it's a lovely walk and gives you permission to eat more

Shiv Shakti Yogpeeth resort is situated near the silent valley in Rishikesh. Its location, the serene and calm atmosphere makes the resort an exotic destination. The burble of the nearby waterfall is music to the ears and soothes the soul. The stunning mountain landscape and the surrounding greenery is not only a sight to behold but has an enchanting and captivating effect. The sun rising from the mountains adds to the picturesque and aesthetic appeal. For the stressed, there are Yoga classes in the morning and evening, conducted by an expert practitioner. This aside, the warm hospitality of Mr. Ram Rattan and his staff and the excellent freshly cooked food from the kitchen, made the stay even more pleasurable and needs to be experienced. Juices, salad and smoothie bowls are best here. Looking forward to visit again soon.
