Shikara Point - Boat club in Purulia - Purulia, India

Not a very good experience but on the other hand, Purulia doesn't have a lot of places to go specially with your children. You as an adult get a good view of Saheb bandh and that's it. Your kid could enjoy a little bit more on the Micky mouse and trampoline. One time go.

It's really an amazing place to visit with friends and family. They charge 300 for 5 people in one Shikara boat for half n hour ride. Soothing and calm atmosphere. Best time to visit is during the sunset and you can have awesome clicks with beautiful sunset in the background.

Shikara point is located in apart side of Sahebbandh near science museum of purulia district. It's not free for all. You can book ticket of 10/ per person to entry. Here you can ride Shikara, some money charge for ride. You can enjoy beautiful evening with your friends, family and relative. A Peaceful Place.

Nice place to time spent nice view water boting children park

Became the heart of the city within a year. You can feel the breeze around the sitting point. No charge for entrance. You can get tandoori, rolls and tandoori chai here at Delhi Darbar. Food is average but the area is awesome.

Now this place is the heart of Purulia... awesome view... awesome peaceful place.. Shikara boat riding is available here also Capsule transparent boat is available here..per head 50rps...very cheapest fare......just go and enjoy.

It's a good place and view of the lake but no maintenance is done by authorities. It is dirty and smells bad everywhere. At the very beginning it was a nice plane and i recommend this to everyone, i visited here recently and now i don't like this place and will not recommend it to anyone anymore.

Surreal experience. Sunset is the best time to visit this place. The shikhara experience was really calming.
