This is very underrated place. You should visit at least once.On the top of mountain you will see a beautiful scenery.Mountains and rivers all together.Thats really worth climbing the mountain. Also while going there get some food and water from nearby villages.Otherwise u won't find any there. These historical places should be maintained by our government. But Bihar is Bihar. Also you will find a very large dam near to the mountain. You must go there too.
Very nice place to visit with your group.
Not safe for girls.
Sad to know government is not taking any action to save it.
You can also visit Karamchat Dam which is the best place for picnic and all.
The Hill Fort of Sher-Garh also at times known as 'Badal Garh', has remained mysterious and has been now lying unattended for more than 400 years, on the eastern banks of the river Durgawati, which flows towards south-west just below the fort, between the two ranges of hills, separating the districts of Rohtas and Kaimur in Bihar.
Lonavala of Bihar. 50 mins trek to reach the view point. Beware of monkeys. No food or water outlets or any signboard in the trek route. Start returning 30 mins before the sunset
