Sheetal The Indian Restaurant - North Indian restaurant in Candolim - North Goa, India

A quaint place opposite Silver Sands Village. We read the reviews ahead of time and expected a decent meal. The waiter was welcoming and served us promptly. The tables were grubby and the fresh lime soda did not taste fresh. The food was freshly made but was excessively salty. This is not a place that we will return to.

One of the best restaurants in Candolim if you want to eat real Indian cooking. Service is prompt, notably friendly and efficient with fresh popadoms (flame cooked and not deep fried) and chutney provided gratis. The Indian menu, while extensive, is light on fish and seafood but does include an extensive range of vegetarian dishes which are kept hot at the table with the use of some unusual warmers. Every meal we have eaten at Sheetal has been simply wonderful.

3rd meal since staying at the silver sands hotel food and service has been excellent on all occasions. I'm looking forward to returning next year
