This place is very good for a complete non veg lunch. They provide 20 dishes for the Kari Virunthu for 400 which is very good when compared to other restaurants in salem. This is more than enough for a heavy lunch with lot of varieties included. A perfect spot for lunch. Pros: 1. Good ambience 2. Quality food 3. Perfect spiciness 4. Lot of varieties included 5. The food tasted very average. The ambiance is pretty good. The dude who served me was polite and friendly.

A decent place to spend a night. We were on the way to Munnar so stopped By Salem for the night and made the booking via Agoda. The rates were reasonable but that's what it would be worth. The rooms are actually small in size and looks quite cramped. Location is good as it is close to the highway and safe open and secure parking is available. No major complaints as such as staff were quite cooperative as well.

Restaurant is located in prime area of Salem. Shanmuga Vilas special Kari virunthu is famous. They offer variety of items in this Kari virunthu at affordable price. Taste of the food and quality of the food is good. In Kari virunthu they serve a soup, chicken leg piece, fish fry, biryani, poori, mutton, nattu kozhi, chicken varieties, white rice, mutton kulambu, chicken kulambu, fish kulambu, rasam, curd, payasam and ice cream. They are also offering other combo offers for biryani. Vegetarian foods also available here. Panner varities, mushroom varities, Gobi varities available here. Fast food items also served here both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Parking area is also spacious.

A very yummy tummy place... Lots of varieties... With good reasonable pricing. A very traditional hospitality with banana leaf serving. Green ridge restaurant shanmugavillas Kari Virunthu is really a mouth watering yummy tasting all varieties of chicken, mutton, fish, crab etc. Britani was very very tasty.. Soup was awesome. Good hospitality as well as ambience...

First time we go to hotel for some relaxation, defenetly nice greetings, nice supply food, menu super& different. Good place for time spent with good peoples. I like very much.... Thanks

I decided on this hotel based on high ratings and deviated from the highway( Kerala - Bangalore) to have lunch at this restaurant. Totally disappointed in the quality of food and late delivery of food. Lot of options on the highway and please don't waste your time and money trying to go to this place.
