Shanghai Cafe - Shanghainese restaurant in Mangaldoi, Kowar Para - Darrang, India

Two cafes (Shanghai and Parampara) are located in front of each other on the first floor. I had Kadai veg and fried rice. Taste is great The interior design is good and very comfortable to sit on. Highly recommended

The price is way too high . And the food is not that tasty and the proportion is not enough. It's good for chilling environment . And best for couples If you are looking for privacy. Can be good for evening outings with friends but the rate is honestly way to high . And even they include GST

ambience and food is good for a place like Mangaldai. but, i did not like the service. received a cold coffee with icecream where the icecream was totally diluted with the coffee. there was a bad odour inside due to some reason and therefore requested the waiter to spray some room freshner, to which he did not respond. lastly, tried to swipe my card to pay the bill, but the machine did not repond and unluckily there is no atm nearby.therefore always carry cash.

food quality is good..but service is not much quick..their quality is not consistent but most of the time you will have a good experience..only disturbing thing is the lighting they have

I generally don't like giving bad reviews. Most of the time, I have been disappointed by the non availability of most of the items in their menu. I am giving 1 star for the ambience. Waiters should be trained on how to pitch a dish to customers.

Place and the atmosphere is good but afterall the food taste is not that good and the prices are also a bit high....the price doesn't match the taste.
