Shail - Hotel in Arambol - North Goa, India

Undoubtedly 5 Star for this Hotel. Visited last month on my Honeymoon. Location is superb. Rooms are extremely well managed, Clean & they have taken care of absolutely everything that you need. All the equipment's provided in the room were in very good condition. The restaurant food was tasty & room services were fast. Staff is well mannered & friendly. Thank you team for making our trip memorable.

This was my first visit to North Goa in March 2018. Mainly I visited South Goa and never touched this part. But this time I decided to go there and check what is there that people talk. When I reached I randomly checked places for stay, my priority was calm place but same fun should also be there. Then I came across this Sohail Wooden Villas. The Villas are situated just you can say starting of Arambol main hustle bustle area. But Bang on right place which is calm and composed. Without giving a second thought I booked the room which has very clear view of beach... Well there all rooms has that but this one was great.. My three day stay was so great that I can't explain, the stay was awesome I enjoyed the beach night life, restaurants at beach and my time at Shail. It was surprise that this was there first year of Shail but believe me it seems the owner knows what they should do. I really like the conversation with Shailendra and Arun owners of Shail... They are really good in services. I am sure going to visit Arambol again to feel and enjoy the energy and without second thought my stay will be at Shail for sure.

Best thing is one of the few creative place at the beach. You can enjoy the company of varied artists like dancer, painter. The ambiance is perfect for family Get together. Next best thing is restaurant which is very good. The food is really very tasty and also if you are budget traveller then you can enjoy buffet lunch and Dinner and that too unlimited... The best thing is cost in the season is Rs. 200 which is dirt cheap if you look price anywhere at the beach.

Pathetic place to stay. Don't go by the photos posted by the owners. They don't even have proper toilet arrangements. Every thing can be adjusted but how can someone live with a unhygienic toilets. That's a standard requirement of every person. DON'T BOOK YOUR ROOMS HERE.

Had a pleasant stay. Most happening place in Goa. Friendly staffs. Outside liquors also allowed. You can also get beer and other drinks for a little extra penny with them. Close to beach.

Save yourself and don't go to this place. Very unfresh place where people without accommodation seem to sneak in to and stay for free and management doesn't care. My huts toilet floor was flooded, never got fixed despite them promising it 2-3 times. Also, I stayed in a tent first and manager seems to have sold off my tent to someone else since I wasn't home until late and he refused to refund. So both the facilities and the management is very poor.

It was memorable trip to goa last year. Shail wooden villas at Arambol beach is situated in north goa. Lot of amazing things to enjoy at the place. The live music during evening was happening. Definitely a place to visit along with friends.

Not a place you wanna stay if you're travelling to Goa!! Rude Staff, Bad Food, Poor Services, Uncleanliness, No management!! Although it is located in a place where you'll find Russians/foreigners only, but that is not what you want throughout your stay in Goa. Typically in rural Goa far from urban Goa of about 25kms!! Advice - Work on your food, services and cleanliness!!
