Shaheed memorial was inaugurated at Haldwani in Uttarkhand on Saturday, the highest of the state (155 feet) has been hoisted in the Shahid Park. Shilpattas have been carved in the name of martyrs in this park. Simultaneously, Chief Guest Mr. Bhagat Singh Kosariyari also spoke about the inclusion of Shaheed Park in the tourist place. As the MP Bhagat Singh Kosariyari hoisted the Tricolor 155 feet high, the slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" were echoed around. Retired officers and jawans of Indian Army also participated in this program. During this time, the band of the army also played patriotic tunes, school children also presented patriotic songs. On this occasion, the inauguration of Shaheed memorial with 46.42 lakhs and the martyrdom of martyrs was honored with shawl.The leader of the Shahid Park, Indira Hridayesh, leader of the Opposition, also said to be a great achievement for the city. On this occasion, MP Bhagat Singh Koshiari, MP, said, "The martyred memorial will be included in the tourism site of the state, for which he congratulated the municipal corporation and a resolution organization." Mayor Jogendra Routela and Lieutenant General (retired) Inderjit Singh Bora said that today's moment is a matter of pride and honor for us.
