SGL Superspeciality Charitable Hospital - Hospital in Jalandhar - Jalandhar, India

I'm from the UK, visiting Punjab in the hope of finding answers regarding my health. I visited SGL yesterday and I'm pleased to say that the level & quality of the care provided were exceptional. This is clearly driven from the top and has filtered down to all staff. The consultant that I saw took the time to listen, asked relevant questions, and he was able to communicate with me in layman'sterms, without me feeling rushed. I immediately knew that I was in the best hands. I cannot thank the owner, his wider family, all hospital staff that dealt with me, enough. I immediately knew I was in the best place. Whilst there are no 100% guarantees that all of my issues can be permanently rectified, I am filled with confidence that I will leave here in much better health than I have been in for 35 years. A huge thank you to everyone connected with this facility. I look forward to follow-up treatment in the coming days/weeks.

If i could just give them zero stars it would have been great, the behaviour of staff is not acceptable at all. Poor treatment from staff members, Icu ward does not contain any place for patients caretaker to stay, they want them to sit all night on the sofa. For staying purpose they want you to go to next building on 3rd floor to sleep on ground. Poor facility i must stay.. what is the purpose of making one person stay in icu ward then. It made me so agitated and would not recommend anyone to come here.

Recently I visited the hospital for a specialized test of my father who are under treatment of other hospital. The doctors and attending staff were very cooperative. Would like to special mention two Lady attendants Suman and Reena, whose handling of the rush hours with a smile were extraordinary.

I am receiving my treatment from Dr. Rupam for anxiety and I would say she is a gem. She is a great support system for me. She not only guides me but also supports me emotionally. No matter, what is the time of the day, I can contact her without any hesitation. She does not have any arrogance or attitude like other doctors who are specialized in a specific field.

Literally, I want to give zero star to this hospital. In my prospective, I thought who gave 5stars to this hospital are one of the members of the hospital. They deliver poor service regarding ICU and unprofessional behavior with attendents of the patient. When you're in the hospital, it can be really tough time that you going through. The worst feeling is often the fear and uncertainty that comes with being sick but for hospital its source of money gaining. It's important to communicate your concerns with the staff so they can address them but in this scenario they don't listen you. My patient is in ICU they don't need advance care but for the money, they kept my patient in ICU. Moreover, they don't give seprate room to the attendants. I talked with the receptionist she told me to pay additional charges to the hospital for room. They provide dirty floor to the attendants which they called as restrooms. Really its my worst experience with this organisation.

Earlier had gud experience in SGL hospital... but after visiting ur dermatologist Dr Shivani. My thots r totally chnged. Sch an attitude, rude nd arrogant doctor nvr seen before. She didnt even check my family properly. SGL shuld strictly take care of sch docs as they r ruining the name of hspital.

I visited there many time related my parents helth issue, the staff and doctors both are very calm. Conclusion, the hospital is very good for the people, who are suffering from the any tye of health disease.

Very poor experience. The doctors come late and there are no intimation. The reception people are taking money and giving slips and make patients wait but the doctors come and then deny from seeing patients under the name of emergency and are only sitting their room and picking which patient to see as per the choice. Very very very poor services and pathetic hospital
