SeaShell, Port Blair - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

From offering refreshing welcome drink, to taking extreme care of guest, from having amazing roof top cafe to giving multiple breakfast options this property is not be be missed. We also stayed at few other so called prime properties but seashells is best among them. The only thing which we thought could have been better was queen size bed which sometimes is an issue to sleep with a 4yr old kid. I can remember few name of the staff but all were so good that it wont be fare to name few Your Breakfast rocks! Your Team rocks! Thanks for making our last day at Andamans memorable :)

Very good, spacious and neat hotel. All essential toiletries are provided. Free drinking water provided in the room. Free breakfast was provided. Spread was good. Guests leaving early morning are provided packed breakfast. Good roof top restaurant with a sea view. Price may be slightly on the higher side.

A four star with 2 star mentality. Note - this place has no garden or walking area, confined to your rooms. You can go to roof but can not carry a cup from your room. Rooms are of uneven sizes. Buffet is costly and spread is not good. Should be monitored by a senior person.

Port Blair is a small town with only one prominent beach. Rooms on the 1st floor and higher, at this property have a great sea view. The rooms are tidy and clean with a bathroom and a small balcony. The in-house restaurant was good but the location of this property is on top of hill (much like the local terrain) so it can be challenging for older folk to move around without transport.

Small rooms. Stayed in third floor and the noise from the restaurant was insane - the restaurant turns into a party / night club on weekends with very loud music. Definitely not recommended for for families trying to get small children to sleep. Restaurant at the top is really good.

The food was not good. I ordered honey chilli chicken but it tasted like chicken is dipped into some sweet honey. It was too sweet. The fish was good but the potato wedges that came along with it were worse. It was tasteless. I am really disappointed because of the food. Other than food the ambience and service was great.

Place looks nice, however, when we went there for dinner and were just leaving quite late at night, we asked the receptionist if he could get us a taxi, since its late, we are tourist with no Indian phone number and there is no uber. The receptionist did not want to do that for us and we were unable to find a taxi outside, since its quite remote and the middle of the night. Luckily the receptionist of ankther hotel was kind enough to call us a taxi.

Rooms and the bathroom are small, but clean. The location is good next to the ITC hotel. The food was nice! The staff is really very helpful and proactive especially at the Restaurant. Check out time is a little odd. Rest it was a decent hotel and can be considered for your stay at Port Blair.
