Sea Side Guest House - Guest house in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

Perfect place if you are looking for peaceful vacation for relaxing your mind and soul. Location is perfect as they have sea facing rooms. Food was authentic and very homely at reasonable rate. Yes, they have some rules and regulations which you have to follow if you are in hotel but that's worth visiting the place. Staff is very helpful and hygiene was properly maintained all over the area.

This is a very good guest house managed by Sri Aurobindo Society. The guest house is at the beach. The room has basic amenities but is very well maintained and clean. The staffs are friendly. The vibration of the place is good. If you are seeking to stay in quiet, friendly place - this is a goto place. Needs to be booked well in advance in peak seasons

Stay at sea side guest house was really a wonderful experience with homely atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home. Note : It is a no smoking, no drinking & purely veg property. You can have non veg at the nearby eateries. Gate closes at 11:30 PM.

Morning breakfast is simple and great. Generally good place for a family stay as long as stay goes uneventful. We stayed long enough to notice that. Couple of days before check out, something went wrong with water heater in the bathroom that we felt electric shock in the faucets. Informed front desk immediately. In the evening, they said it's fixed. Then I switched the heater on, the lights stopped working and the room went dark. This concerned me. I asked the front desk manager about whether they tested and fixed the issue. He said yes and trying to be defensive about this. I had to argue for a room switch even though it was a downgraded, smaller room. If an event like this occurs, manager or management don't know or willing to handle better.

The guest house is very nice and cosy and right on the beach. The only downside that I faced was the bathrooms doesn't have any exhaust fans which makes them very stuffy despite of the fact that they have got one window open all the time.

I stayed in this hotel last week in April 2023 for 2 days. Rooms are pretty decent size, clean (nothing fancy), staff are courteous and polite. Morning breakfast was good too. I had a clear view of the sea from my balcony and hotel is just across the beach. So it was easy to get wet and come to the hotel to change. The beach side is always crowded and people and walking or sitting on the beach road. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The prices was also comparable to other hotels.

Nice place to stay. Choose first and above floors if you are booking sea view rooms .

I was travelling with my parents who really enjoyed this guest house. The view from the room is just magical, the guest house is very clean and quiet. This would always be my first choice for stay in Pondicherry.
