I arrived in morning and first thing which disturbed me was the waiting room and it's washroom, both of which were filled with water and it was disgusting (it's rainy season), the AC waiting room was also compact but open (I don't think AC was on as gates were full open), so after that view I thought to wash my face but almost every tap was filled with disgusting things (you'd puke) I tried my best to control, so after disappointing waiting room condition I sat near ticket counter but now the electricity goes off (full on drama), so I checked if I can get retiring room but they were off service (repairing) so I went outside and couldn't find a single good enough hotel to stay, as near railway station there is full of disgusting lodges.
So to conclude all things please limit your stay on this railway station as minimum as possible and going to city centre would be a good option to stay and to get good quality food (not sure about others but I personally liked Heaven's roof restaurant's food with enough options to choose from)
This is Saugor Railway station & code is :- SGO
A normal city with having all of daily needs things.
Near of railway station lots of hotel and restaurants for stay and fooding both.
It is 190 km far from Capital of MP bhopal.
In platform lots of passengers lay down for rest.
Good cleanness of platforms but not best.
A best thing of today 10/05/2022 is free water distribution to passengers by Shree Ram Sewa samiti,
Good work by This NGO
It's beautiful platform over there, I visited 2 weeks ago. The tickets counter staff was not kind and a man ignored many people, scolded the passengers who enquired for trains. The was very terrible for me because I used a car to reach on time at the station . As reached there it was so crowdy station. You won't believe there was not enough space to stay stable on platform because of the crowd.
Platforms doesn't have enough space.
A small but well maintained railway station. You can find a free waiting hall in platform no.1 side. Both side of railway station had markets. For local transport you can take auto rickshaw in both side of platforms.
Superb,
My experience is just awesome at saugor railway station.
parking is also available here and it's superb
Its an OK station, its neet and clean however the waiting room small, for gents. There is ladies waiting room available. When you come out of the platform number 1 then there is Sulab suchakaya (paid public toilet mad washroom)which is better. Like if there was any help from this review.
