Located near Kaladhungi, Sariyatal, also spelt as Saria Tal, is an artificial lake constructed as a tourist spot. The tiny lake has numerous activities like paddle boating and water sports. It is also popular for the Himalayan botanical garden which is a research centre other than being a herbarium and a butterfly park. Hiding a steep waterfall at the corner, Sariyatal is an ideal spot for solitude seekers, nature lovers and photographers
A small lake, 10 km before nainital city Few activities for childrens are there Enjoy Street food with the lake view
This is one of the most beautiful lakes in the city of Nainital. Residents and tourists both just love the place for the tranquil ambience it provides. It also has a Himalayan Botanical garden nearby which you can visit if you are interested in different varieties of flowers. It is a great place for the study of botany and science...!!
Looks an average place after seeing nainital lake . It is quite small in size and feels like an artificial swimming pool and there is a small waterfall at the end( for me its not a waterfall at all). But i must say the road leading to this place is breath taking. One can enjoy the view while driving bike or scooty. I love the road to this place.
A beautiful lake (about 8 kms from Nainital on Kaladhungi road) which has been renovated. Provides facilities for boating, zorbing, etc. Aashirwad guest house is just adjacent to the lake giving decent budget accommodation...though meals have to be taken at nearby dhabas. Good place for those who seek solitude.
