One of the greatest sons of the soil, revered Shri Bhailalbhai Dyabhai Patel, fondly known as Bhaikaka, was born on 7 June 1888 at Sarsa in the Anand District of Gujarat state. A Charotari patidar by birth, and a civil engineer by training, he had braved the shock of the death of both his parents in quick succession at a very young age. He received his education in Sojitra, followed by Vadodara, and subsequently at the University of Pune from where he secured a Diploma in Civil Engineering. He began his career in engineering as a Supervisor in Mehsana, and gradually rose to become an Overseer in Dhulia in the then Bombay Province, and to become Assistant Engineer in a sub-division of Pune. 1923 saw him take up the position of an Assistant Engineer in Sukkar Barrage project in Sindh (now in Pakistan) and then worked as an Executive Engineer of the same Barrage project. Recognition of his engineering skills came in the form of the position of Executive Engineer in the Special Roads Division in Sindh.

I had got three degrees from this University. It provides quality education with overall development of child through cocurricular activities. It have huge campus with good infrastructure and other facilities.

College Infrastructure Infrastructure is awful. In the summer, the water coolers do not work. My college has a major hygiene issue. However, after Naac's visit, they simply changed colleges. The library and auditorium are definitely worth seeing. Academics I am now pursuing an eco hons degree. I chose this sub, but now that I've seen the teaching staff, just a few of them are excellent and helpful. And, while I believe the curriculum has been updated, I do not believe I have learned anything from my clg. Placements There doesn't appear to be a placement cell. There is only one placement society called Saksham...but admittance to that society is difficult in any case. I don't know much about placement. Every student was placed in well-known and reputable companies, and the curriculum was superb. College provides us with internship opportunities for a better future and experience. We have faculty who are highly educated, knowledgeable, and experienced. They are quite helpful and communicate effectively. Academic standards are tough, yet professors and tests are fair. I've got more than enough time between classes to socialise with coworkers and explore the city. As an international student, I received all of the assistance I required from the university. While living on campus was enjoyable, I believe that the construction/renovation work should have been completed during the summer break. At times, the noise was too much.
