SAMARA SEA-VIEW HOTEL - Holiday home in Alibag, Akshi - Raigad, India

The property was nice and clean and everything that we could think of was available to make our stay amazing It is great get away from the hustling city life. The property is a beautifully constructed cottage, located at aakshi beach The decor of the cottage is beautiful. The cottage itself has been very well designed, constructed and maintained. For Sea food lovers the fish market is nearby and sea food was super fresh, simple but delicious.. Theres a lot of space for parking cars/ bikes/ busses as well. The caretaker is available to take care of basic needs and help with the luggage and groceries.. There's a fishermans boat factory right beside the cottage and if you're lucky you may get to see how big boats are made.. Overall I'll recommend this place as it's budget friendly even on weekends.. Water sport and para sailing activities are on walking distance for adventure lovers..

Have had a stay of 2 days here. The property is literally located on the beach and surprisingly a private area.. owner is friendly and arranged my stay according to my comfort and requirements. Best part was they were very welcoming and I have enjoyed and definitely will visit again

Samara resort exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and food was good. The location is also excellent, with easy access to the beach and local attractions.

Recently we stayed at Samara beach home. We were group of 35 ladies and gents. It was excellent experience with this resort and the host Saurabh. Although his team was understaffed, but he was trying his level best to cater every guest. Overall We were happy by his hospitality. Both Veg and Non-veg food was excellent. Moreover after our stay, we were ready to leave in the evening and our bus broke down. Saurabh assured us and allowed us to stay for extra 5 hours and offered us complimentary coffee and tea. It was very difficult to get a 35 seater bus at the eleventh hour but Saurabh managed to get us one with his references. He even refused to take the extra amount we offered for his help. Few things about the property : #Even though the property is located right on the beach, the beach is not suitable for spending time and having fun in the water as the area is located in the fishermen community. If you wish to spend more time at the beach, there is a 'Nagaon beach' near by on a walkable distance. #As I said the property is located near fishermen community, the smell in the area might cause discomfort to some people.

This is worst place to stay. very bad beach in front of this resort. main thing is owner's attitude towards customer. while booking rooms do not pay in advance. first go to resort and see the current situation of resort and environment around resort. main issue is fish smell all over the place out side of resort and not clean. Saurabh is very arrogant person while talking. we requested Saurabh to refund booking amount and he denied in bad language.

The host is good, but the road/way to the resort is very narrow. There is a village near the beach, hence you will see a beautiful view of people emptying their bowels on the beach in the evening. I guess it's the sunset view which makes the locals feel better. ;) No water sports on the beach for obvious reasons.

Visited 22nd & 23rd Jan' 22.Rooms are very clean & neat, Foods was absolutely delicious , Resort is having good location with all small small arrangements , Resort Owner is very polite, helpful and taking care of guests personally. Rates are also reasonable, Overall good package and value for money.
