This gate direction is toward samana city, which was also very famous city in mugal raaj as well as patiala riyasat. Samania gate is near government mohindra college, it's still beautiful and tells the story of patiala kings, inside the still few painting left, and two big gates there with sharp iron nails, and small room there for king's soldiers and stairs inside room. but need more care and maintenance and it's in good condition as compared to topa khana gate
This is a historical place . It's just only a gate. When you will cross it you will find an old and big Hanuman mandir. A chole bhature shop is also behind the temple. You will find a good and tasty chole + kulche + naan + bhature in the shop. Vegetable market is also near to the temple approx 250 mtrs.
One of the last gates of the city is part of the heritage. Always beep your horn when you drive through the gate... It's fun.
