Sai Residency Gangtok - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

The location is calm and peaceful but 4km away from MG.Marg. The rooms are spacious - only for double accommodation ( for 3 people, extra mattress is provided on floor). The food quality is 'okay'. The staffs are worthless - delays in every task. The services are not up to mark. Wifi is available but doesn't work, geyser is available but doesn't work properly cos the staff keeps it switched-off - notify them every time. Tea is available but always serves late. Overall - if no hotel is found, this can be the one you're looking for.

We are 55 persons and have booked for a 3 night stay. The hotel manager Mr. Abhishek is very active and cooperative, the hotel staff is nice, the food is good. Nice spacious room and excellent view from the rooms.

Room are good and big but food is not nice ...this place is too far from Gangtok.....we cannot able to see the city....no out side food available there...

Very remote from city. Cleanliness is not maintained. The surrounding is full of smell of cigarette smoking. Room service not upto the mark

The hotel is a bit old and it seemed the maintenance was shady. My windows did not open at all. The rooms were quite large and the only thing good was the dinner that they served. The person in the reception was courteous but my complaint is particularly for one of the staff whose behaviour was such that we were staying for free. Advice to management: please train your staff who had a beard as it seemed he is disturbed himself and unworthy of catering to guests.

My experience at this hotel was mixed , situated at around 3kms from MG road,the rooms are big and spacious. View from some rooms of the hotel is also quite good. But the food could be better, there is a problem of electricity and backup. Warm water is not always available. Otherwise not a bad budget option.

Hotel staff is good but property is disgusting their gyser is not working after complaint no hearing dirty mirrors & broken mirrors in rooms food quality is worst their blankets are teared up after complaint they arrange me another but with same issue I'll never suggest this hotel to anyone
