One of the historical landmarks and reflection of rich cultural heritage of India, Sabz Burj can be visited during the same trip as Purana Qila, Humayun's Tomb complex and Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia's Dargah. One can just see it from outside and click snaps while passing through the area. Sabz Burj, meaning "Green Dome" is a octagonal tomb located at the roundabout/circle at the end of Lodhi Road, opposite Humayun's Tomb, and adjacent to Nizamuddin. It is a protected archaeological monument, conserved and maintained by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The Sabz Burj a building right in the middle of the Sabz Burj Circle roundabout and thought to be a tomb (although there's no tomb inside). The structure is mostly covered up due to renovation works, but walking around it you can see it's an octagonal structure built using Central Asian influences, judging from the blue, green and red glaze tiles that's exposed. I was only passing as it's close to Humayun's Tomb, otherwise I wouldn't not go out of the way to see it until the renovations are complete.
Sabz Burj is the oldest mughal building of Delhi and becomes a daily sight of commuting in the city as it is located at the lodhi road . Controversially , sabz burj is actually not as the name says blue but green, but it might have the name as it is literally a small green oasis in the middle of a crowded, polluted city. It is very beautiful to look at , especially at night. Definitely worth a visit if youre not from Delhi. Inside the sabz burj is a small tomb which is visitable.
Sabz Burj which means "green tower", is an octagonal tomb situated on Mathura Road, Nizamuddin, near Humayun's Tomb, Delhi.
Believed to be built in the 1530-40. However, there's is no inscription or evidence has been found yet that can clarify who is buried inside the tomb.
Originally it was covered with glazed green tiles On the outside later it was reconstructed by ArchaeologicalSurveyofIndia. Now it is decorated with blue tiles and stone. It was influenced by Central Asian architecture, which consists of alternating wide and narrow sides. Entrances have been built into the wider sides, while the narrower sides are ornamented in a pattern of incised plaster, paint, and glazed tiles
- NEELA GUMBAD -
The dome is made of turquoise blue tiles thus giving it the name ' Neela Gumbad ' or the blue dome.
The Nila Gumbad is the earliest Mughal era structure to have been built in Delhi.
Passing by the Nizamuddin East road, no one knows who was buried in it, when exactly was built or by whom, as it remains to be a historical mystery.
Historians are unsure about the identity of the person who has been buried. Some claims that it houses the tomb of an attendant of a Mughal noble and was buried during the reign of Jahangir. According to others, the tomb existed much before the Humayun's tomb was constructed.

I used to see it while passing through towards Humayun's Tomb or Sunder Nursery.
Recently, it's restoration work has been completed.
It's an octagonal tomb located on the roundabout in the Nizamuddin complex, which you can spot when you walk towards Humayun's Tomb.
There are contrasting opinions about it's exact historical tracing- who built it and when. There are different stories.
The entry is free but I'm not sure whether they're currently allowing visitors.
Although it's a tomb, there's no grave inside. It is a historical and cultural site, nevertheless.
Located on Mathura Road, Nizamuddin complex. It is open to tourist from 9am to 8pm well maintained. Hardly take 5-10 minutes, no outside food is allowed. Calm and pleasant place.
The flag is very very tall and can be seen from far away.
There's a huge park around it and lots of places to sit and chill if you want to.
You could walk around the whole park.
It's tight above outside Rajiv Chowk metro station on the yellow line.
