I have stayed in the resort on 2nd and 3rd Dec 2024. 1. Rooms are compact for family ( 2 members). 2. Food is very good. I loved their breakfast, lunch and dinner. May quality of coffee and tea they need to improve further more. 3. Lawn and ponds are very well maintained. We enjoyed the pond side meeting because of the good lawn. 4. For Boating they arranged, it was really good. 5. Overall the staff behaviour was very good. I felt very happy.
My expectation for Royal Riviera Kumarakom as a cost-effective resort were exceeded, the welcoming atmosphere, breathtaking waterfront setting, and comfortable accommodations made for a perfect weekend. The excellent experience was made better by the restaurant's fantastic menu and helpful staff and highly advised it for a fun and affordable trip. One of the best budget-friendly resorts in Kumarakom.
The rooms are fine. Food was very tasty. Lawn, Pool and AV room are well maintained. Staff are very courteous.
It was the worst experience to stay here for 1 night . Rooms are not good at all and bathrooms were not clean. They have poor food quality and at breakfast 2 items are only there 1 for non vegetarian (omelette)and 1 for vegetarian (uttapam (without salt) ). Management will try to give u the cheapest (no matter if it suites you or not) service available at that point of time.I would never recommend this sham of a place to anyone.
I have stayed here for just one night but overall good experience there. Due to excellent service for room, food, extra amenities etc. i felt like my own house in place hotel.
It was not upto the mark. The rooms were not clean. Beds were not comfortable. The breakfast was horrible and very cheap with no options. For tea they charged Rs 70 which is not at all acceptable. The pool water is not properly recycled.
Stayed at Royal Riviera a week before. We have enjoyed the stay with family well. Excellent service, activities, tasty food, calm and green village location etc. Recommend for a peaceful stay.
