Rose Villa Heritage Bungalow No. 9 - Home Stay in Takdah - Darjeeling, India

We had a fantastic experience at your bungalow no. 9. The food was absolutely delicious, and the host nice behavior and hospitality made us feel at home. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and scenic retreat. Only the car rent was a bit high.

Stayed at Rosevilla Heritage for 3 days. Had a really great experience, the bungalow is amazing, well maintained, comfortable and has everything that a traveller could possibly need. The food was next to best - homely meals cooked with so much love. The family is a great host. We had a great time there and I would love to go back.

Excellent location. The view from the room is spectacular. The owner Gyaltchen, and his staff are extremely friendly, helpful and always at your service. Food is delicious. We felt like home away from home. It is a great spot for vacation. You are just in the midst of nature, just the kind of vibe you want to have when visit the mountains. We had amazing time living here and looking forward to come again to enjoy the serene beauty with the people who treat us just like our family.

This is the most elegant homestay for a weekend getaway at Takdah. Location is breathtaking with magnificent glimpse of nature. We enjoyed the ambience. The owner is incredibly helpful. Staff was very hospitable. Room was well maintained and decorated with vintage aesthetics.The food was delicious.The warmth we received is unforgettable.The Homestay is a perfect example for heritage stay. Highly recommended.

We had a very comfortable stay.Akash was always on his toes to look after our comfort.He is also a very good cook and prepared mouth watering dishes for us.Dadaji who is 101 years old and still going strong narrated us history of this place.We are looking forward to our next visit. Staying in Rose Villa has been a very pleasant and memorable experience. Booked for a week for workcation. On the work front, faced no disruption in work due to power cut or internet issues. Full power back and high speed wi fi connection in the hills is rare. Special thanks to Jhangchup for the seamless arrangement. Now coming to vacation part. Amazing heritage bungalow, peaceful location, smiling hosts made each day of our stay very enjoyable. Food was fresh and homely. Most importantly relished the wonderful tea . Dadaji, auntie, uncle and Pawan made us feel at home. Went as guest but came back from home. Missing you all.

We had a wonderful memorable stay in Rose Villa. Most of the times it felt that we are in the land of Cloud. The homestay is well maintained and very clean. The amicable behavior of the owner is amazing. Their service is too good. They always have smile in their faces. Their cook Sanjog is too good.

A wonderful experience at Rose Villa Heritage bunglow, Takdah! Indeed heritage in its history, the service is excellent, the food is just superb, the people are friendly and accommodating , the owners are so very courteous! This place has offered us with such great experience that we have decided to come back every year! There's nothing that needs improvement! The management is always alert about the comfort of the guests! I'd give this property a 10 stars ! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable! The fireplace inside the bedroom provides food for thought for imaginative minds! Had it been winter time, I'm sure Santa Claus would've visited through the chimney! A proper wonderful home-stay atmosphere. The choice of food was excellent. A sudden pangs to have sausage, french fries, pakoras will be met with such ease that you'd not miss your home!
