We stayed in this resort for 2 days. Service was good. Prices are very high for the rooms they have. We have stayed in better resorts for less price. Food is also very expensive. Location is good for family as it has 3 pools and a private beach. They have a restaurant which was playing live music and both the singers were extremely talented. Had a good time in the restaurant.
During our stay at Riva Hotel in Goa, our excitement as a family traveling with kids was dampened by disappointing service. The most disheartening part was inadvertently receiving a chicken burger instead of the veggie one we ordered for our son. Adding to that, the watermelon juice we requested arrived warm, contrary to our expectations. When we raised these concerns, the response about serving juices at room temperature was unexpected. Our conversation with the reception the following morning only led to an apology and an assurance that they would improve in the future.
The resort is awesome.. a large property with ample of amenities and nearby access to the beach.. their buffet breakfast is to die for.. food Quality is best but a bit expensive to the pocket.. lovely experience.
Excellent holiday destination if you are looking to unplug and detox over a weekend or a couple of days. Everything about this property is excellent, the rooms(Premium river view), access to beach, view from the room, service of the staff is excellent. When I needed help-Ms. Anitha from reception went out of her way to help us. Thank you Ms Anitha. I traveled here with our baby boy and had a memorable weekend.
BEST VACATION DESTINATION I went for vacation in the month of October 2023, and let me tell you it was a memorable one. It's a beautiful resort and the view of the resort is breathtaking. It's really well maintained with good and very cooperative staff. Amazing housekeeping service by muktar we used to go in the morning for sightseeing and to our surprise when we used to return back it was neat and clean. really beautiful rooms with all the amenities one feels must be there. I would like to say special thanks to Archana madam for giving perfect information about resort. Being a vegetarian was again an issue as Goa is known for its sea food specialties but here i got what i wanted the best of Veg. food and with no complaints about it. This Resort is beautiful view of the beach in the morning is worth a watch a very clean beach with a private access to it not crowded as other beaches... in short a complete package one desires. spa facilities also there with lot of yoga and meditation activities going on a complete relaxation if desired. I will definitely recommend this place to one and all of all ages a must go and enjoy the real essence of Goa. if i would have known this place earlier i would have liked to do a destination wedding at this very place. must go place thumb up for Riva. Once again thank you so much Archana madam for providing best service to us.
While the location is one of the best in Mandrem, the service is nothing to talk about. It is absolutely rubbish. The time it takes for any service to materialise, be it the rooms at checkin, the pool towels to arrive after a swim, the food at any restaurant to arrive is utterly unacceptable! Haven't been disappointed more in my life. Hate it, would not recommend it!
Resort's location was best at first we got stinky room we requested to change it,they changed it then in that room the lock were broken again we have to waited for a long hour to get it repaired, the washroom drains were so full water was not getting drained. Lost my quite expensive earpods from inside the room i complaint many times but didn't got any solution for that
Rooms are okay, they gave us a corner room and no garden view. Bathrooms are pathetic, the walls are all black with fungus, taps are leaking, shower is giving extremely hot water when you are showering, Flush tank just doesn't work properly. The reception guy and the waiters have a very big attitude, the help desk is useless and doesn't get back with whatever queries you have. Food is just okay, not at all tasty and very limited options for breakfast. Good food is available in the beach shacks. The most annoying thing is you don't get any cab service from here through Goa miles or Uber. There is a group of taxis outside which charge you a bomb for traveling small distances. Really expensive. The view is good, beach is nearby, place is calm .you get a good sunrise and sunset view.
