Ri Saw Kun Homestay - Home Stay in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

This place was wonderful. We really enjoyed staying there and wanted to extend our stay as it was very pleasant. The lady caretaker was really wonderful. Even though we didn't inform them about dinner on the day of arrival she made dinner for us at the late night since we were very hungry. It was the best food we tried while we were there in Meghalaya. Whatever she does was very tasty. The rooms were very neat and had all the amenities and I would say this is the best place I stayed in Meghalaya. It has the home feel and also the amenities of a good hotel. They even got us the local spices since we requested it. If you're staying in Shillong definitely this place is recommended.

Lovely and serene place in the middle of Shillong. Very good service, special thanks to Ethaniel and the food was tasty, thanks to Rebecca. Absolutely recommended to anyone who is planning to stay in Shillong. If I am ever back in Meghalaya, I will make sure to stay here only, if not, at least visit there. Thanks for your service, we really felt at home there.

This is a fabulous homestay tucked right near a pine forest. Ibor, the host has converted his home into a cozy stay. The decor is very tastefully done and gives one a feeling of staying at home. It's a warm feeling. The cook, Rebecca and the caretaker do a fantastic job. Ibor went out of his way to even arrange for good tempo travellers and made an itenarary for us. This is a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend

We had a really great time in this homestay. Hosts are really good and presented a good example of hospitality. Owner was responsible enough to welcome us and ask us what we need etc. Food is also very good and special thanks to Rebecca and Ethan for their service. Rooms are clean and have all necessary things. My only suggestion would be to add a television in the rooms just in case someone wants to entertain themselves at room.

This has to be undoubtedly the most kid-friendly accommodation I have come across while traveling. Rebecca and Ethan, the caretakers will leave no stone unturned to ensure that guests are treated like family. This place is tucked away amidst the hilly Risa Colony locality and taxis do ply here on request. There isn't any television here. However, they do provide Wi-fi. The establishment needs to know your choice of meals for the day much in advance, as the produce will be freshly procured, and the meals freshly cooked for you. They also provide hot-water, fresh towels and an electric kettle with a tea/coffee kit. The rooms are very airy and spacious and, with regards to the surroundings, you definitely need to be here and experience it.

The best ever homestay to be very honest! Everything was so on point! From rooms to hot water! The host were very homely and the service was very warm! If I ever visit Shillong again then this will be in my bucket list!

Ri saw kun is just home once you've spent a day there. I would go back to Shillong just to stay at this homestay. Big shout out to Ebor, Ethaniel and Rebecca for treating us like one of them. Excellent rooms big enough to fit 3 people, clean washrooms and simple heart warming khasi food. They sure did go out of their way to make us miss the homestay

A beautiful quiet place in the heart of shillong city.. will always prefer wen visiting that part. Ethan and rebecca lovely host. Pretty place in my favourite city.
