It is a nice historical building. This library has many historical books, jewellery, sculptures and swords. This place is well protected by CISF soldiers. Cleanliness and greenery are also very good. A good arrangement of ample seats has been made to sit. This is a library so it is important to maintain peace here.

This is an amazingly built building. The architecture is beautiful and will remind you of Rome. The entry is easy you need to write your name address your contact details and should carry Aadhaar card (indian citizens). For foreigners I guess you should have your passport. There is also washroom facility as well free of cost. The library houses beautiful calligraphy, daggers, paintings, Scriptures and statues.

A great place for research scholars, people with great interest in the Mughal period. If you are simply fascinated by old beautiful forts and places then be there. It is closed on Friday. People even come here just to hangout. Entry is free here but is highly secured by CISF

It houses manuscripts, historical documents, Islamic calligraphy, miniature paintings, astronomical instruments, illustrated works in Arabic and Persian, printed works in Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Pashto, Tamil, and Turkish. Nawab Faizullah Khan established the library in Rampur in 1774, which grew rapidly as successive Nawabs patronized scholars, poets, painters, calligraphers, and musicians. After the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857, collections were shifted to the Indian subcontinent by Nawabs and Nizams. Nawab Kalb Ali Khan, Nawab Mushtaq Ali Khan, and Nawab Hamid Ali Khan were notable for their contributions to Rampur's library. Raza Ali Khan, who ascended the throne in 1930, was educated in India and abroad, and was a progressive figure in education. The Rampur State Library in India was managed by a Trust established in 1951 by Raza Ali Khan Bahadur.
