No windows facing outside and hence no proper ventilation. They say they have hot water but take time heating one bucket with an immersion rod. TV does not work. No amenities whatsoever. You get what you pay for. Only advantage is proximity to Chennai Central.
what a crappy lodge have to walk through drainage waters to get there extremely hot room, no air holes, all windows (1) and doors have to be opened for nice sleep. bathrooms are filthy, no locks for bathroom doors, the photos must have been taken when they built them. the manager came in the room at the night we checked in and asked alcohol, we gave . and he started chatting blah blah and went on telling various things, and on the end he even asked Rs 100 for biryani for him.
My experience in this lodge,I had booked a double room thru phone call,once we reached chennai central station,we called lodge landline number,the manager guide us the way to the lodge, lodge was walk able distances from the station.After checkin,the room boy took us to room no 111,the facility of the room is good,bathroom was kept clean. Cheap tariff rate,overall had good experience with room staff member.
Worst lodge I ever stayed in Chennai.No neatness and water all the time.They bought Rs.500 in advance and when I asked about the balance 200(rent 300), the hotel staff argued with me.I would not recommend personally this lodge to anyone.
