Its an excavated site. The site is clean and well maintained. There are some stairs that one needs to climb before you see the site. Inside there are lot of Buddhist sculptures.
Its good for a one day trip.
The tickets can only be bought online ( scan and pay) or you can pay through card. They don't deal with cash.
Excellent place where you can see the old monastery standing tall with strong walls. Exquisite carvings. It would be great to have a guide explaining the lifestyle and how they used to live. Some of the rooms have no entrance or windows. What were they used for? Was it a two storied building? How did they build the ceiling? Some such questions needed answers. There is a huge Banyan tree. Don't miss the old temple of mahakaal behind the stupa.
Big Monastery. Must visit place. Very Big buddha status and Head is there. Good spot to spend with family
Nice place. You will find peace here. Nice place to click photos. The structure is awesome. The Gautama buddha statue is there.

Top place for historical place. Only problem with communication road . Other wise it's OK .

Good place for travel but lack of amenities like washrooms and drinking water facilities in Monastery area. But the museum is awesome, the entry price per head is rs 5/- and has washroom and drinking water facilities.
Beautiful historical place.
Less people.
Keep in mind that in summer there's no protection. So take the historical site first and then go to the museum where's there's AC so you can cool down.
