Rasta Mansion Beach Hostel and Rooms - Backpacker Hostel in Arambol - North Goa, India

This is nice place to be at a min budget. People here are so amazing, especially owner was so friendly with us. We went as a team here, a team of about 30 students and had a great time in Goa. The service is here is good but only problem with water, the water is not so good to take bath. This place is so near to the beach so you will have an amazing experience there, the beach is at walkable distance and has some good restaurants. The night life here is amazing you will have great view amazing people around. The bike rental service is also available near this place at a min price range depending upon the bike and also no. Of days. Note: your not allowed to take outside food inside this place but don't worry you have Kitchen here it self with some good dishes. Overall nice place at decent price

A beautiful place so close to a beautiful Beach. The hostel is picturesque with colors and art everywhere. The ambience is awesome and hosts are really nice. Rooms a bit small but are clean and well maintained good enough for a hostel. We got food at almost midnight and arrangement was made at a short notice. A little bit farther from main roads and market but it isn't what you expect from a beach property. I would say it's a heaven for backpackers esp solo travelers.

This hostel is at definitely good location. Ambiance is also fine. But the only issue here was no one was available when needed one. Electricity was a lil issue. There wasn't hot water available. But the place was very much near to the beach so could be at beach till 2 am

This is a must in Goa. It's probably the cheapest accommodation you'll find here, but you still get everything you need. The soul of this place is amazing! Nowhere else have I experienced hosts this dedicated and committed to their mission. They are hanging out with the guests in a casual way. They suggest and take part in activities such as parties and going to markets. It's very genuine. Their English is perfect. Overall the hostel has a casual, positive vibe. The water is dirty and stinky, the bathroom is often dirty and the WiFi is weak.

A lovely and very affordable hostel. Great vibe, I'd visit again just for the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and to hang out with the staff. The staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful, especially the manager Vajra. 5 minute walk to the beach. Rooms were clean, and bathrooms we're acceptably clean but still had some hard water residue on the wall tiles and on the mirror. (The mirror was cleaned on the second day of my stay) It's still a great deal for the price. No meals are included but there is a very affordable and decent but not great kitchen to order from during most of the day. (The kitchen is closed from 5pm to 7pm but reopens from 7pm to 11pm). This is the ideal set up if you're trying to save money, because you won't pay for anything you don't use. I'd highly recommend this place to any budget travelers, and anyone who is looking for a relaxed, friendly and laid back vibe. I wouldn't recommend it to people who are very picky about cleanliness. The rooms were clean but not spotless, and the area around the building did have some detritus scattered around. Enough to see and notice, but not enough to get in the way, or disturb me at all. I hope to be back next time I'm in the area.

I stayed there for 1 night n day. Bed are ok but the location is bomb like it's litterly 40 steps away from beach and man i loved it. Washroom were ok too. Food no idea but owner was helpful as well as there cat. Price were cheap too. So for me it was a good investment for a night.

Absolutely wonderful hostel. if I am lucky enough to have a return visit to Goa the excellent Rasta Mansion will definitely be my first choice hostel. The hostel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful especially(Vajra). the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to Arambol again, we would definitely stay there again. Suggest others too!

Exceptional location.Just a few steps away from the beautiful Arambol beach.However it doesnt compensate for the small and unclean rooms,highly unprofessional service,and lack of basic amenities like drinking water and toileteries. There is a shop from which you can buy food items,which is really a needy thing while being there.The ambience is also great at night.Recommended to solo travellers who can adjust as much and not recommended to anyone who wishes to have better facilities and service
