Rani Ghat, Sumati path - Scenic spot in Patna - Patna, India

While in Patna there are many ghats on River Ganges, the most famous is the Rani Ghat. The ghat comes alive every weekend, as the river's evening aarti, a ritual performed with lamps, is held here. Dressed in saffron robes, priests perform the aarti, along with prayers and songs. The blowing of a conch shell signals the start of the aarti.

Peaceful, clean, cool, spacious, Wonderful. Scenic natural beauty ! Its name 'Rani ghat' suits it's nature as it appears as it was made for Queen's bath and entertainment !

I go in my free time with friends or even alone, I enjoy it very much, my heart finds satisfaction in walking.

Beautiful place but need to some improvement in cleaning and maintenance. Otherwise good to hang out with friends and relatives. A lot people came here in evening for hang out,boat riding in river Ganges. No charge for entry. Boat riding fee:- Rs100-150 per person (price may vary time to time)

Rani Ghat is a great place to visit if you want to see River Ganga. This place is quite peaceful and gives a great scenic view in the evenings and morning. Ganga river side in Patna differently a good relaxing place to visit. Ghat is clean and not that crowded, if you visit before evening 6 clock. Just some areas where local live is not that clean and water in Ganga also dirty.

One of the best ghat of ganga river in patna.well sensitised and very clean.scenario of this ghat is attracting.mahashivratri fair is well known festival.you can also go for walking in morning and evening with family,kids and friends.almost good place.

This place is very much clean and peaceful. You get pure air and Ganga is just flowing from here. You would miss something like restaurant here. But, soon all it's peacefulness and beauty is going to be destroyed when the bridge just passing through here would be completed
