Rang Mahal - Historical landmark in Pinjore - Panchkula, India

I always appreciate the hospitality of Rajasthan and my last stay with hotel Rang Mahal Jaisalmer was at another level. our check-in process was smooth and they ensure that we have once in a life time experience during our stay. They were their to help us in all possible way. We were given a very nice historical tour of the hotel with all the required information. we were mesmerized by the beautiful architecture of the hotel made in Jaisalmeri Yellow stone , it was magnificent ! Beautifully done with cultural miniature gold paintings adding to its beauty .

The lighting in evening/night and the architecture makes it a perfect photogenic place. The rooms of this area are closed.

Rang mahal is a place of coloured paintings on walls. Though tourists are not allowed to enter inside this building. This is located in the centre of this park and provides a mesmerizing look of the JalMahal.

Nice place with old memories

It was built in the foot hills of Himalayas as one of the Mughal gardens summer retreat for the Aurangzeb (r. 1658-1707), who then had his capital at Lahore, by his foster brother architect Muzaffar Hussain (also known as Nawab "Fidai Khan Koka"), who as Aurangzeb's master of ordnance had also supervised the construction of Badshahi Mosque (1671-73) of Lahore. It was built during the early days of Aurangzeb's rule but the accurate date is not known. Since the time of Shahjahan, mughals reserved the pavilions with Balustered columns supporting the cusped arches only for the use of emperor and his immediate family, hence, it was likely built for Aurangez's personal use as summer retreat.

Such a beautiful place but mostly in the night time. I advice all people who are interested to see it visit in the night time . It has beautiful lighting.
