Ramling Appa Lamture Government Museum Ter - Museum in Ter - Osmanabad, India

Place of importance for all historians.. They have taken lots of efforts to preserve and store few 2nd CE items. It's small place but worth visiting.. In few years time, this museum will be a must visit place in Maharashtra..

This is a place that I really had no idea about, situated at the bank of terna river in Osmanabad district, Maharashtra being a civil engineer I was just curious to visit these, as from my childhood I had been hearing to stories of goroba kumbhar who accidently(while being so devotionally singing and stamping the mud for pottery) stamps his own child in the mud. And afterwards shree vithal himself comes for his help and so on... And this was the greatest visit with my father here, as this museum has the same brick made by him that actually floats on water, I might even upload pictures I took here( pictures are strictly prohibited) so I really apologise for that too.... Even many great architectural findings have been excavated here that define the colonial system that was buried away due to natural calamities.

Best place to see our indian old traditions...nice to see from older than mohanjodado... Toilets are clean no guide available... They took rs 10/ for each person ..not giving any reciept... Must visit when you are in usmanabad district There is one floating brick..also

This Museum has collection of idols of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. These day back to Shalivahan- Satvahan dynasty from 200 BC to 200 AD. This is one window which allows you to see things that our ancestors had using. Best place to visit.
