Started in 1935 as Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Ashrama, the centre was made a branch of Ramakrishna Math in 2004. Activities: A allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary. A mobile medical unit and eye camps. A physiotherapy unit. Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa. A computer training centre. Daily worship, bhajans, weekly religious classes, and occasional discourses in the ashrama and elsewhere. Celebration of the birth anniversaries of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, and other religious teachers, and also festivals like Durga Puja and Kali Puja. Welfare work by way of providing scholarships, food, clothes, blankets, pecuniary help to poor people. Ashrama Campus

Very organised, clean, and a place for meditation You can practise meditation for a little time.

Beautiful place with a well-maintained garden. Guest house available (charging 500 per day per head - food + lodging). Just opposite the math, there is a Ghatshila's signature kalakand store. Do taste that (12 rs per pc).

It's a silent place.. mind stability place .. many flower are on the garden .. there is also Ramakrishna mission school .. seva ashram living rooms here

Very good place to stay at Ghatshila in a very comfortable atmosphere, very clean decent rooms, western attached washroom and moreover at a very reasonable price Rs -500/700(same room with AC or without AC) per head per day with food and room.All those rooms are very clean having facilities hot water supply,fans very bright lights and night lamps, and here manegement staff are quite helpful.(Mararaj Natarajanandaji has very kind nature , always keep his eyes open for the facility provided to guest personally, i like, love ,and respect him within few hours of our staying, out of four days /nights ). Mandir Arati every evening made you happy but optional you may join or not. But you should also remember that it is Ramkrishna mission guest house not a hotel,so expect that who like to live here stay with respect and dignity to the institution. Free car parking available, GENERATOR support very much needed available,hot running water available, Acuaguard drinking water available, lounge sofa sets available to spend quality time with family, rooms are in ground floor, first floor and second floor.For booking availablity write to mission via email or talk via phone . We visited the place during Durga Puja 2022.. Excellent experience we had...Bengali traditional puja upheld with dexterity...If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city this place is the best for u .. They provide Breakfast,Lunch,snacks,dinner at 500/person/night--Non AC Accomodation 700/person/night--- AC Accomodation.It is very near to the Ghatsila railway station.Maharaj of the Math is very cordial , helpful and caring. We had a great experience...would highly recommend everyone to visit the place
