The market sits along the middle road between two large ponds ('Padmar' and 'Majhi Pukur'). It is the only vegetable market in Raghunathpur. Raghunathpur residents have been gathering here since morning to market here. Fresh vegetables are available here at affordable prices. Besides vegetables, there are also fish and meat shops. But due to COVID 19, this vegetable market was shifted to Raghunathpur 'A team' Ground. Now of course some shops are sitting here again. Yet such crowds are not noticed here as before.
Very helpful market for the local people, You can get fresh vegetables here, approximately every day.. Fresh vegetables and some kind of grocery products like Ginger,onion, spices are also available here.. There is a small fish market also.. The market is on an one way narrow road beside the pond.
It is not a structured market place. The road is very narrow. Very inconvenient for daily shoppers especially during rainy season. The good point is that the place is easily accessible from every part of the town.
This shopes are moved to a big ground named A-team Ground during COVID-19. Now there are only some vegetables shop are available.
It is local market...both the buyers & sellers are from the surroundings fresh vegetables ,fish,chiken can be found here in plenty..
The price of Fish is very affordable but the price of vegetables is always high here. quality is quite good.
