Clean platform. One Store available in platform no. 2 and a visiting places near the station.
Very nice, clean Railway Station at the lap of famous Joychandi Pahar ( A steep rocky hill).
Both mail and passenger trains have stoppage here and thus this station has an importance. Nearby junction station is Adra Junction.
Upper class waiting hall is there but I always see it under locked condition. Passengers have to wait at the platform premises only.
Paid water vending booth is absent. Drinking water can be get only from the designated taps.
UTS ticket vending machine is not available here.
In conclusion, though there are not much amenities here, still this station has calm, cool atmosphere and you can't ignore it's natural beauty
The look of this railway station is more of a Hindu temple with fantastic architectural representation. When I reached the station for the first time, I was overwhelmed by the location and build of the station. Opposite the station, the Jaychandi Pahar is standing tall to send off the visitors. The only discomfort is that there is almost no food counter (except one) in and outside the station area. So, the passengers need to manage it at other places.

Very clean station.. it is very nice place . Bathroom is perfectly clean . But water is not available in bathroom .
Only the station building is good, else nothing is okay... There were no food court or food shop, no filter water machine, No ATM, no waiting hall...
Its a nice station. The view is very beautiful. The name of the railway station is because of the beautiful joychandi pahar nearby that is visible from the station very clearly. The structure of the station towards the platform no 1 is made as replica of coochbihar rajbaari that has increased the beauty of the station.
Autos are available only in the timing of arrival or departure of the trains. Rest of the time very few autos available there.
