Quarry lake - Hiking area in Daman - Valsad, India

One of the best off-beat places near Daman - Gujarat border. Water here is crystal clear and teal blue due to the presence of limestone. Initially the place used to be used for mining limestone and on presence of sunlight, it emits vibrant colours. Location is around 100 metres ahead of Google Maps location on the left hand side and a nice time to visit is early morning or late evening. Spectacular view is seen from all angles. Please avoid swimming in it as it's very deep and water is highly alkaline

Best offbeat location in Daman. If you love photography or love to spend some quality time add this to your Daman itinerary. The teal blue/turquoise colour water here is amazing. It's because of limestone. But try not to touch the water, it's alkaline. There's nothing around. So just go early morning,spend time,click photos. Go with your own vehicle as there is no option for public transporti. Or else if you go there by auto,tell the driver to stay and come back with him. We went there at 7 in the morning,there were no one around. While leaving,we saw a couple and photographers coming for pre wedding shoot. This place should be developed,as it attracts tourists a lot.

Located in the Indian, Bhimpore, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman, and Diu, Quarry Lake is an amazing and breath warming lake. This is one of the beautiful places which is still unseen and unexplored as well.

This quarry is a personal property. So, a security guard don't allow to park inside and visit. Still, We parked our car on road and went through some shortcut way. Decent place to take pictures.

If you love photography then must visit. Beautiful place but just for photos. There is nothing to do around. Even it's a bit difficult to reach the location but the natural quarry and color of water are just so pretty

Perfect place for pre wedding shoot. Mountain with blue water. You can click good pictures here. No food items available here. A humble request to everyone who's gonna visit here, don't throw any garbage anywhere here or in the pond. It's our own individual duty to keep it clean.

Nice lake. But not so clean. Best in monsoon. It is said that quary stones make water clean. But I rate it average
