Station has most of the basic amenities . Has Old worldcharm and transforming into a modern station. This station connects Tata Chakradhar - Adra route to Muri route. Station is never deserted at night so didn't feel any security concerns to travelers but has limited waiting room amenities.

This is one of the important railway junctions of South Eastern Railway. This is very clear too having 4 platforms and Foot Over Bridge and Lift facility(for platform nos. 1, 2 & 3). There are vendors of various food items in the station premises. Waiting room, help desk, cold water, toilet facility are available. SBI ATM is there in its compound. There are authorised food vendor stalls at all platforms.

Nice station. Not much crowd. Waiting rooms are good. But pay and use toilets are not clean enough. Number of stalls are sufficient for needs of the passengers. The station is well decorated as well. People are helpful. Market is situated just outside the station. Big parking lot is there as well.

Purulia Railway Station is a very important station for the people of the district and for tourism. The station is very big and fairly clean. Most of the facilities are available here. However, when it rains, a lot of water accumulates on the number one platform. Besides, the number of sheds on platform number four needs to be increased and sheds are needed up to the overbridge. It would be better if the number of drinking water and toilets were a little more.

Another important Railway Junction Station of Purulia district.Which is connected between Adra Junction and Barabhum. Neat & clean atmosphere inside the station. Many stalls are available. Lift facility is under construction. Few hotels are available nearby the station. Enough Parking facility outside the station.

Purulia railway station is very beautiful. Purulia Railway Station is covered and spread over the largest area. It is one of the oldest clean station. There are 4 platforms and there is enough space to sit. This railway station comes under West Bengal. There is only 1 foot over bridge, it becomes very inconvenient during rush hour. I like this railway station very much.

It is a very nice place, some old building structures are still there untouched from the British period. The station has all the modern facilities and food stalls. It has four platforms connecting the south eastern and eastern railways. A bit more cleanliness is required.
