Punyah Residency Rishikesh - Hotel in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

I visited with my family first time to Rishikesh and stayed in Punyah Residency. We were the Lucky One to be the first customer of Punyah Residency and was so warmly welcomed by Owner and staff members that we could never forget. Punyah is always our first choice of stay in Rishikesh. It is one of the calm and clean place with beautiful scenic view. You can see from room balcony and terrace restaurant river Ganga flowing through the mountains. Thank you Punyah and its staff for giving us such an unforgettable lifelong experience !

I stayed here for 2 days in August 2023 and it was a very sweet experience. I have seen very few hotels with such excellent service, foods and very humble staffs. View was awesome from room.

Really good location, western rooms that made me comparable and at home. We didn't know how to turn on the hot water and thought that it's not working, and the staff came to our help help right away. Besides that, they have a good restaurant with a really nice view that's open from early morning to late evening. The location I'd also great, right in middle! Would come back again :)

We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Firstly they have very very small rooms. And the bathroom was pathetic. Dirty and stinking because of no proper drainage of water. We have complaint also but they don't took it seriously.Rooms are so small that u hardly have a place to move. They have somehow adjusted a single sofa and table, but it becomes fully packed. And this is about their superior deluxe room with mountain View. Guess about the other room categories. Only good thing is the view from balcony. That was great.Also the cafe and food was good. But it's an overpriced hotel.

Hi I had booked punyah looking at google raringa hut they are all fake. See a user post one month ago saying they were first guest and welcomed but you know that hotel is operational for 2 years. So its all FAKE RATINGS I stayed in punyah for one night with pathetic experience. The approach road is so narrow and location is confusing They claim mountain view but a building is obstructing the view and when shown the difference in website picture vs actual satff said this is what it is. Please SAVE YOURSELF FROM SCAM

We stayed here for 4 days and were completely satisfied. What is particularly striking is the polite and courteous staff. We would recommend the hotel in the middle of Tapovan to everyone.

Really enjoy stay in Punyah Residency and like to appreciate Mr Sandeep Negi cafeteria manager for his humble nature and his rest staff which is very polite and helpful. Breakfast and food was really really good. Please try poori bhaji and coffee. Recommend this hotel in Tapovan area. Only one request with hotel management to install blinds curtain in mountain view side room, early mornings too much sunlight around 5am

My experience at this hotel was really nice. Highly recommended for the visitors to rishikesh. Sadly during the visit I was unable to click any pictures of the bathroom or rooms. Because the trip was really tiring but I am sharing this experience so that I can be helpful for those who wanna visit Rishikesh and searching for a place to stay. The view from this hotel was amazing. This place is not located on the front road it is located after crossing 2 narrow roads. So, this hotel was a little task to find but otherwise the points that make this hotel a great place to stay are- 1. First of all the behaviour of the staff was really great after freshening up we just hung our clothes outside the windows and left to have dinner outside but when we returned to our rooms our clothes were not there and after asking the hotel management we found out that because of wind they fell and the staff picked it up and nicely folded them and returned them 2. I visited rishikesh in the peak season of may so the prices were a bit high from usual but they had given a great discount to us and the owner was also very kind towards us. 3. This place offers great food they have plenty of variety to offer and that too with the great price. Really I had ordered fruit boul, milkshake, toast, sandwich and juice for breakfast the taste was awesome and the price according to the season was nice. 4. For dinner as well I ordered paneer, naan, papad, raita, rice, all of them were having just the right amount of spices also they offer customized taste as per customer if you ask them to do so .... They had the whole view of river ganga very beautiful from their restaurant place. In short the overall experience was great.
