A very decent restaurant serving a variety of cuisine which is value for money . We ordered the tawa roti which was very much like homemade rotis , bhindi masala which too had a good taste and quantity & veg hot and sour soup which had perfect flavors .
For someone who is vegetarian and is tired of having maggie in Srinagar, this is the place for you. Simple food with amazing taste, tawa roti, kadhai paneer, aloo matar, tandoori roti, bhindi masala everything was so amazing in taste and quality.
Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good home like taste.
The bill for 8 persons was 1700.
The Gujarathi Thali is a must try, taste of khadi Kichidi and Chass/Butter milk is yummm...

I visited this place in October just before boarding a flight and needed quick service and non spicy food. We ordered plain daal roti. The food was served immediately as it was just after lunch hours and the food had the original taste that we weren't expecting. Quite cost effective as well.
First thing it is a pure vegetarian restaurant and you can get jain food as well. We had lunch here and at that time it was full, we had to wait for sometime. I am not sure if we were hungry or it was the magic of cook the food was really good. Although most of us ate South Indian Dosa, idly, sambhar vada and Uttapam. We had tea as well as butter milk and it was good as well.
It was not costly and a bit cleanness is require though I can under it is one of the veg restaurants so a bit crowded in peak time.
Great food with the view of Dal lake. They provide North indian South Indian and chineese foods. The food was so tasty and good. You can also get chai and all types of chats here. Outdoor dining is also permitted
Everything was nice except food which was average. Sweet lassi was sour! And when we pointed it out, the waiter said that they get only sour curd from suppliers (sic!)
