Quality of the service team is very very poor....have had a relationship with Popular since their Maruti days, including sourcing Maruti Vehicles from them Via Kochi when they did not have a dealership in Kollam. Went to get my new creta's hood repainted as it had some damage to paint due to tree sap. The team charged me for a full hood painting but after delivery, the spots were very clearly visible from under the paint, I even got a ceramic coat done by them. Eventually brought it back to get the hood cleared again, at delivery the same thing, signs of overspray and the chrome not being masked properly. The worst part is that now a peice of the chrome had disappeared. The hood too was left rough and unpolished...this is the worst ever that I have seen in Hyundai ownership and service. I had been approached by Chungath Sprice to buy the vechicle from them. Having taken my dads and sisters vehicles to them for service. Should have stuck to them....would advise anyone planning to buy a Hyundai to buy from them, aftersales support is a major part of a car ownership experince.

Popular Hyundai.... Serving the customers since a long...Took delivery of our car i10!nios from Popular Hyundai in 2020.. Got the car with the best available offer price then.... Be educated about how to buy a car availing all benefits. We had some bad experiences with the executives then, but we were vigilant to stay away from all those. Till date we did our regular yearly service and the recent first paid service of our i10 nios there. (Prebook your slot) From the service department I personally felt their services were good. This time we had our vehicle serviced, properly explained and attended by Mr.Ajith(service executive) . He was so helpful and explained all the charges and all and got the car serviced. 4/5 to his behaviour and service. Delivered the car on time...neat and clean.. Service cost - Ok Overall Behaviour -3.5/5 Hospitality -4/5 One glitch was noticed and as parts were not available a complaint was reported under warranty. Parts awaited...Have to wait for how the story unfolds then...!! Recently they have stopped the live streaming of the service process.. That smells something fishy actually... ?!!

Worst service ever experienced.. trying to fool customers...

I am a patron of Popular Hyundai's service center in Kollam. I am the owner of a Grand i10, which has been experiencing a significant issue with its acceleration. This problem arose during my time in Chennai, prompting me to reach out to the local Hyundai dealer there. Unfortunately, it took them over 20 days to pinpoint the underlying cause, a process that involved numerous emails and phone exchanges. Eventually, they arrived at the assumption that I needed to replace the ECM, which comes with a price tag of approximately 42,000 INR, installation costs included. Being a customer of Popular Hyundai in Kollam, I got in touch with them while still in Chennai, providing a detailed account of the issue. The service team assigned Mr. Ajith to discuss the matter with me. Mr. Ajith managed to put my mind at ease, assuring me that they could attempt to resolve the issue by updating the ECM's software, thus avoiding the need for replacement. Despite my concerns about driving my car from Chennai to Kollam, Mr. Ajith instilled confidence in me, encouraging me to make the journey by road along with my family. Following his advice, we successfully reached the Popular service center in Kollam without any incidents. The team there efficiently addressed the problem within a day, and the total cost came to around 4,000 INR. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Floor Manager Mr. Ajith and Service Advisor Mr. Akash Deservice for their outstanding efforts in saving me 40,000 INR that I might have otherwise wasted due to an incorrect diagnosis from another Hyundai dealer.
