Hye!! Thank you for serving uswe had very warmth and cozy stay..the food that they served was also very well prepared..felt like home over there...and specially thanks to your management team..they're so kind and sweetest staff I ever came across...one of the most important thing that I would like to mention is about the cleanliness..I would give 10 on 10 for that..It was so so clean..both the room and washroom..We really enjoyed.
I stayed in this hotel for only two days in last week of month may 23 with family. Easy to arrived in hotel from highway. It takes 2 mins only. Cleaning of room great, Hotel staff just like family members. They provided everything for my 8 month baby like hot water and sanitary items without any cost. No unwanted charged for any thing. Thankyou Pine hill homestay management for great cooperation. I will visit again.
The rooms were really nice but the service was a bit shaky considering it was a homestay, we don't look for hotel like service but there needs to be one person for a group of 8 people who can contact at any point of time. We were stranded without drinking water after 10:30pm, other than that the location is relatively calmer than the main town of police bazaar
Visited the place with family in October 2019. The place was neat and clean, (its the residence of Mr Lionel, the owner who stays there with his family and attends to you whenever he is available), food was fine, they would cook as per your taste, some rooms were awesome while others were a little small in size. Mrs Nitie takes care of you all the time. But the best comes at the last, location wise its a fantastic place, you cross entire Shillong and reach this place. Then wherever you go, be it Cherapunjee, Dawki, Mausilong, Mawphanlur, Mausamram, YOU DO NOT NEED TO FACE SHILLONG TRAFFIC again !!! You save a lot of time and money by staying here, everday, every day trip.
Highly Overpriced Room and Food Menu as well. You can get better property with beautiful view in Cherrapunji in less then this property price. I would give zero star to hospitality & services. Room is Okay but Overpriced.

The owner of this is a fraud. We booked this property(making full payment) for three days through MakeMyTrip. But when we reached there they said that our booking was in the PineHill Guest House(another property of the same owner) which was an absolute lie. On presenting valid documents of confirmed booking in PineHill Homestay, she said that our booking is cancelled and were forced to move to the PineHill Guest House which is not at all fit to be a tourism property. We were three in number: me along with my aged parents. In the guest house , we were provided a room which is too small to accommodate two persons also. We ultimately complained MakeMyTrip service denying to stay at the Guest House instead of the Homestay. After a long sequence of arguments with the owner we were given a refund back of our money and left the guesthouse. We then moved to another hotel in city centre,Shillong. At that time we really faced difficulty in getting a hotel for stay. One whole day of our trip was wasted. Thanks to her. This is how the people of Shillong cheat tourists???? Shame!!!! It was a very unpleasant experience in my first visit to Shillong. Is this the way how this homestay cheats people? I had conversations with the owner over phone multiple times since I booked the property. Even in the night before we went there, I had a talk with her regarding the directions of the homestay. But at that time also this lady did not say that she had given our booked rooms to anyone else. Sharing my bitter experience here. Take it as a caution note. Anyone booking this hotel online, please be aware that your booking may get cancelled without any notice. We at least got back our money because of MakeMyTrip. Thanks to them.
