Pilerne Lake / Bird Watching Point - Bird watching area in Sangolda, Pilerne - North Goa, India

Beautiful viewing area, surrounded by dense forests. There are benches and steps to sot on. Its possible to spot Egrets and other birds. Great spot to visit after the sun goes below the hils.

Its a very preety place. People need to start being responsible and stop litering it. Plastic, beers bottles and cigrate butts are sighted more commonly than birds. This is also a place for Ganesh Idol Visarjan. Please act responsible and take your trash back with you when you visit here.

Pilerne lake was almost dry(December 2021). The area was also not very clean. Although quite place surrounded by heavy vegetation.Couldnt spot some unique bird. Just the regular birds which you can find anywhere in Goa. Don't visit the place with much expectation.

Beautiful place, but not maintained. Maybe in rainy season this will looks more good.. but currently it's just ok. People also do ganpati visarjan in this lake.

This Place may good if People keep it clean, not maintained bad smell, don't go in summer their is less birds and less water.not a Nice place

Beautiful place to spend specially in the evening hours. A very calm and cool place, away from city bustle, so this place can give you lot of peace of mind. Recommended specially for bird watchers and photographers.

Good place to unwind in the evening. It is very peaceful and quite. It is known to be a bird watching point. But it is enjoyable to others too. Better to visit during evening.
