Pilak Historical Palace (Shyam Sundar Ashram) - Historical landmark in Paschim Pillak - South Tripura, India

A site recommended only for archeology enthusiast. Others may not find it very exciting. Very small complex you don't need more than 45 minutes to spend there. But the fact that it's an 8th century antiquity is exciting for any history buff.

Both the site requires to upgrade more sign boards with information making the tourist worth visit this place. Connected with main road by 20 mins walk. A day trip would be fine to cover this place along with sabroom indo-bangla bridge and some eco parks.

It was a great experience for us !... Thb we don't even know it exist, we just went inside and had fun . The janitor is so kind and friendly . Hope it continues its beauty which was made in 12th century.

2 km away from Jolaibari railway station. Definately, a mesmerizing site for the archeological enthusiastic persons. Sculptures herely mostly resemble Buddhism. Bricks are almost of same shape and quality of Boxanagar Moth Bari. Entry timing as told by local guide is 9 am to 5 pm. Overall, sculptures are scattered in 3 places.

It is a good historical site, it was clean some construction work was going on but there was not tourist center or guide. OUR so called ASI department is good for nothing. Most of the sculptures which were excavated are in Ujayantabhawan musem.

This place is remarkable part of history. Sad to see preservation is very poor and local people should aware about this great national treasure

Its good Historical place but nothing much to see. But there is a park or you can say museum where you can connect yourself with nature. A big tree is there inside the park which in nearby of this place.
