Phadke dining Hall - Vegetarian restaurant in Pune - Pune, India

I have visited this place more than twice now. Once it was for a family function and our relatives had booked the hall. Other two times just the dining section. They offer mouth-watering authentic brahmani Maharashtraian vegetarian menu with unlimited servings. It's an all you can eat thali restaurant. For special festival days they have special dishes like ukadiche modak (ukddiice modk). Or on sankashti they would serve special upawas food. Brahmani Maharashtraian cuisine is traditionally sweeter. It's light on your tongue but can get heavy on your stomach. They won't have paneer dish or something very spicy. Aloo (aluu), a green leafy vegetable and not potato, bhaji is the best. Then birdya, amti and other such traditional dishes and best experienced here. For me this one of the best cuisines in the world, but YMMV. If there is no event happening in the hall, then sufficient four wheeler parking is available in the basement. Especially loved the service and promptness of the staff. They were eager and courteous. It's in the core area of pune and this area has many buffet dining restaurants, but this one has kept the charm of authentic brahmani Maharashtraian cuisine for a long time. Located in the busy road Sadashiv peth, it server you one of the best quality Maharastriyan thali. With lots of item on plate served hot. From farsan to chatni to baji dal rice phulka taak sweet. You temp to eat all. Service is good. Ample parking at basement if there is no wedding in the above hall. Taste are reasonable.

You can have homely taste here. Good atmosphere good vibes Price is little high for this type of Thali but everything is unlimited. Service is very much instant. They close at exactly 10 p.m.

Not worth Rs. 340. The taste is average. Dishes like Gulabjam, dahiwada are quite good but rest are average and some vegetables are tasteless. Pros- Unlimited food, variety of dishes, pure vegetarian, two kinds of sweet, seating arrangement, staff and parking facility. Cons- Taste is average, overpriced, some utensils are not cleaned properly.

Perfect place for maharashtrian thali. Roti Puri Usal Bhaji KandaBhaji papad jalebi Amrakhand DahiVada buttermilk koshimbir chutney Pulao Varan Bhat and Saar. Everything as unlimited. Saar was excellent all items were best no doubt. Service is quick and prompt. Food was always hot. Must try place. Easy to locate on road. parking is available in basement for 2 and 4 wheelers

Phadke Dining Hall is a place close to everyone's heart. Famous for authentic Marathi food. The place is great for family get togethers. The staff is friendly and they don't just rush to serve the food. They also have four wheeler parking in house.

It's a nice family place that makes one nostalgic and may remind of Khanawals. The food is simple with rice, varan, chapati and masale bhat as constants, whereas the subzi and dessert changes on a daily basis. It's a thali system and very much reasonably priced. The place is clean. They also have a small hall for functions. They serve pure vegetarian food. One needs to check the timings as for lunch it's open from 11am to 3pm and then 6pm onwards.

Very nice homely environment. A superb place who loves thali. Tasty food. The basundi from this restaurant is my weak point.
