Persian Palace Group Of Houseboats | in Dal Lake Srinagar - Hotel in Srinagar - Srinagar, India

Stayed in this houseboat for 03 nights. Deluxe room was booked off line through Owner however, Owner gave us Houseboat with standard rooms as another Houseboat with deluxe room is already given by owner to other guests. We left with no option but to take the same as we are in the middle of the lake when it was informed to us and no booking could be made at that time elsewhere. It was a bit disappointment as the Houseboat was Just an average Houseboat, Regular Cook is also on leave, hence food cooked by care taker which is just average. Staff is courteous especially Mr. Javed who took care of us for three days and also cooked food for us. His efforts made our trip otherwise we were planning to shift our stay to some other Houseboat. Owner should take a note for his promise made for Type of Houseboat. Not took pictures of Houseboat in courtesy as Houseboat is not well maintained. Rooms are interconnected and have issue of privacy. Queen size bed is there in the room and no seating space is available in the bed rooms. No side Table are there for putting out stuff like mobile or water bottle beside the bed. There was no space for storage of luggage or even hooks are not available on washroom or in rooms. Electronic Items are working fine though. Over all an average stay. Not recommended

Well maintained, luxurious,ideally located and cooperative staff. Next time we prefer to stay here and will recommend all to stay here. Miss u Persian palace. Feel like home. Good outside view.

It was much better than expected. Rooms, washroom are spacious and clean. Very Good Hospitality by Mr Javed. Very Friendly guy and available for service on one call. One who is staying here must take Shikara ride by Mr Javed. Its a wonderful ride of entire Dal Lake which go through a lot of places like vegetable market, flower market, food points etc. I would say, its the best stay at this boat house.

It was really a pleasant stay, the house boat has such a wonderful wooden craft work which were preserved from many decades. It was beautifully decorated and maintained as well. From living room to dining to two bedroom all were in great shape, it was like we were transported to decades old in craft work but fitted with modern amenities. The most important thing was the dinner which was so good and tasteful unlike even any good hotel. They prepare chicken, one vegatable (cauliflower I have never thought that this vegatable can be made in such a delicious manner) and dal. They specially prepare for you fresh as they have fixed and certain guest count. In breakfast there was a little bit of suggestions we have given suggestion to owner that they served limited options of English breakfast. Which he politely agreed to take care in future. Location is too good. It was pleasure to get in conversation with owner as three generations were involved in houseboat. Overall definitely a very good choice of houseboat.

i have visited the valley a number of times and have stayed in a number of house boats. but this time around, i stayed with persian palace house boats with my whole family on 7 june for 4 nights. and i must say me and my family really cherished the hospitality of the host and were cordially welcomed. the ambience of the houseboat was really majestic and i felt like a king. it was really higenic accommodation at a very reasonable price. the facilities provided were one of the best. the food was really amazing and tasty. it tasted like home made and fresh ingredients were used. they were generous enough to arrange a taxi and shikara ride for us. they even arranged a camping trip for us at a reasonable charge. the owner mr Zahoor is a very humble man. i highly recommend a stay at his place to experience the real essence of kashmir.

It was awesome experience. Owner Sahil Ji will make you feel like home. Food is on demand as you like, people are so friendly and warm. They treat you like family. True to kashmiri vibes. Rooms are awesome and services are at best. We Recommend it highly

Great stay and service that too in affordable package. They take good care of us. Food was nice, bathroom was clean. Thank you everyone for making this Kashmir trip a wonderful memory.
