Pavinakurva Hanging Bridge - Featured Reviews (889)
Bridge is built well and it's just 200 mtrs from main road.
Beautiful view and breeze and can avail boating facilities.
Locals are really good.
Had there for about 30 mins it was great time.
Pavinakurva is a small village close to Honnavar separated by the river Badagani from the mainland. The auto driver who took me to the location told me that it was constructed in the 80s and he remembers going across the river in a boat for Rs 1, prior to that. There does not seem to be any consensus on the date of construction of the bridge.
Be as it may, the suspension bridge provides a much shorter route to the place than a longer available route. Pedestrians & two-wheeler drivers prefer this route. The view from the bridge is picturesque. The river is wide, so the bridge is quite long...

Beautiful bridge for a photoshoot but dangerous. Most of the floor is damaged and it has started rusting. People ride bikes on the bridge which makes it more dangerous. Authorities should look into renovating the bridge and make it open only for pedestrians.
This bridge links the main land to beach road, where people use it as connectivity. Best thing about this place is people can go in their bikes but on an single way as only on bike with an single person can ride on this bridge. When i had been to this place, I saw localites fighting with people who had been here for pre wedding shoots and there was an banner mentioning photoshoots are prohibited. The view from this bridge is good and to ride here also good with your 2 wheelers.
If you are around honnavar , or on the way to gokarna you can visit this .
I visited this bridge when returning from apsarakonda falls ,
Also bridge seems to weak as informed by locals and not advised to stand in same place for long time . Just an info .

This bridge connects the mainland with the beach road. Only two wheelers can go here. The size is so small that only one size movement is possible. Overall a good place for one time visit. The length of bridge is also impressive.
