Best place to visit with family. there are stops to rest while trekking. Don't bring food bag to trekking because monkey gang trying to snatching it from you. Near by places to visit Taked Jatayu Mandir, Bitaka Fort. visit and keep clean.

Its famous touristy spot in Nashik District and does not have too much crowd and with its narrow gullies and hawkers selling everything inside the fort, it hardly gives you the feeling of royal fort. The only place i liked is the small story telling musium inside.

Marvelous experience. The fort is way greater than it seems from its base. Takes around 3 hours to explore well.

Patta Fort is straightforward to climb. During the full moon (Poornima), the disciples of Laxmangiri Maharaj gather at these caves. The 'Ambarkhana' is a large, newly reconstructed hall which can accommodate about 200 visitors for overnight stays. A rock-cut cistern exists near Ambarkhana. With villagers' help, the forest department has developed pathways, steps, and a gazebo around the fort. Many wind turbines have been erected on the way to Pattewadi, constructed by Enercon. In the Bhavarth Ramayana written by Eknath, Patta Fort and Aundha Fort are mentioned. Patta Fort, or Patta Killa, also known as Vishramgad ( Marathi: pttttaa killaa ), is a fort situated between Nasik and Ahmadnagar in Maharashtra, India. The Indian ruler Shivaji maharaj once visited and rested there. The residents of Patta Killa are known as Pattekar, meaning "residents of Fort Patta". Patta Fort stands approximately 1,392 metres (4,567 ft) above sea level. Entry Fees 30Rs per person

history - One among the 3 fort where chatrapati shivaji maharaj actually lived for around 33 to 34 days, maharaj rested here hence fort is also known as vishramgad, during successful siege of jalanpur (jalna) in return journey shivaji maharaj got surrounded by mogul army from three sides, bahirji naik a great sardar and intelligence chief managed maharaj to stay on this fort for safety reason. when to visit- best season is after rainy season and winter as in rainy season due to foggy weather you will surely miss great views from the top. how to reach- from nasik you can either choose deolali route or nasik mumbai highway, i recommend nsk mumbai highway during rainy season. what to see nearby - at taked (sarvatirth) you can see famous jatayu temple where jatayu sacrifice his life to save sita mata from ravana. also see plenty of windmills on top of the mountain. ancient shiv temple ruins and ancient well (vihir) just outside forts main gate. what to see in fort - plenty of temples and caves, trambak darvaja, water storage tanks, main attraction chatrapati monument, in recent years ancient grain storage is been discovered on the fort this site is near water tanks in caves, also son tekdi is the highest spot of patta killa, great view from this spot but useless to visit during rainy season. safety instructions- drive safe your vehicles, stay hydrated and be aware of aggressive monkeys on fort do not eat in front of them or give food to them. humble request- Just do not see patta fort as picnic spot at its having significant historical value, respect fort and surrounding environment plz do not throw garbage any where. thanks for reading my review, jai chatrapati shivaji maharaj, jai hindvi swarajya.

This place is surrounded by mesmerizing nature and has amazing views around. The place is well maintained and has stairs to climb. There's small waterfall on the way to the fort. On top, there is statue of The Great King Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Behind the statue there's ancient room which is now modified internally and has 3d paintings and stories describing the painting of Raja Chhatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj's life events. Fort is easy to climb. There are wild animals so take care of yourself while being there.
