This one one of a kind water fall. Hidden deep up in the forest with a difficult trek to get to it but once you are there it's worth all the pain. The route to it is towards mohanchitti. The route is difficult and steep climb. You must wear good shoes, water proof recommended and should not be worried about getting them dirty. The water fall is about an hour of up hill climb from the road. Mesmerizing and enchanting is the words that come to my head when i first laid my eyes on this beauty of nature. Must go, well prepared. Sun does not come through the jungle but mosquitoes do.Carry mosquito repellent and wear comfortable footwear for the trek.
It is indeed the best place to explore the nature and it's serenity it is so peaceful and perfect. 45 mins steep hike is something which you have to do to reach the point of water fall. At the end of the hike a small pathway is splitting from the main hiking route don't miss to take that otherwise you will end up reaching to the small village above patna waterfall. Don't forget to take extra pair of clothes and towels don't miss the bathing experience.
Following a small trek through lush green mountains is a very beautiful waterfall where you can enjoy getting drenched in smoothly falling water from the mountains with breathtaking views of high mountains and forests on all sides. Recommended to specially visit during rainy season.
Too awesome place
Everyone should go there atleast 1 time,
Nature beauty
Not sure why it's called Patna waterfall but it's quite scenic. You need to hike for about 15 minutes to reach the top. No specific route is there though.
Visit during Monsoon season
1. This is the natural fall in the Patna village near Rishikesh that gorgeous and water falls from very high.
2. Official parking is not available at the base, so u have to park your vehicles roadside very carefully. You will get to witness the beautiful trail of the cascading water amid the lush greenery of the thick forest on the way to the the fall.
3. A small pool is present below the water fall and water is fresh and good for swimming.
RECOMMENDED
It's around 25-30 min treak very peaceful and calm place if you visit during weekdays during weekends it will be lil crowded by the tourist.
An amazing and beautiful miracle of nature.
The water is pristine and clear, but like all water falls heavy caution should be taken to traverse to the bottom pool for fun.
The Himalayas ranges are quite young hence very sharp rocks are found.
The fall is really breathtaking.
The uneducated people though drop garbage and beer bottles into it which is a big menace.
