Very good restaurant for outsiders. You get value for money products. Everybody should try once here.
This place is really very cheap and also have a great food quality as well as quantity. Ambience is also very nice. It's really a must visit cafe cum restaurant. And also it's on main road, so you can find it easily.
Interior decoration is good according to the location and for a ghatshila like place is good. Coming blto the food is quite average okay types not very good or attractive nor very poor lies somewhere in the middle. In my opinion the taste and quality of the food should improve as it has beautiful inside so it should also match the quality of the food. Pricing is okay someone may not be satisfied with respect to the taste. Good part is you can have and eat sitting comfortable that's the plus point. It has fans and AC, also TV. So yes comfortable to eat. Food taste and quality must improve according to the price and the interior design.
If you are looking for good Bengali food with an economic price, you must visit Hotel Pather Panchali in Ghatshila. It's a walking distance from the station. The restaurant is on the second floor and it is well decorated.
The seating arrangements and the ambience is also very good. We ordered Steemed Rice (3), Plain Daal (2), Mix Veg (2) and Fish Curry (1). The taste of the food is really good and different from the other hotels nearby.
Also, the bill amount was Rs. 590/- which is quite cheap for 3 people.
I must suggest to all the tourists who are travelling from Kolkata to have lunch/dinner in Pather Panchali Restaurant.
Nice, neat and clean well maintained restaurant. We had lunch and dinner once during our stay in Ghatshila. Quality and quantity, good. Moderate price. Service is good and the owner Mr Shibaji Chatterjee will help you in every way he can. Wish 'em all the best!
