Pashan Lake - Lake in Pune - Pune, India

Pashan lake is the best place for vBIRD WATCHING . You can watch various Birds here ! Along with that the sitting area and the overall atmosphere is so nice ! You don't even need to pay any charges. Please don't throw waste nd stop spreading it.

Could be better maintained. Dense trees at the banks of the lake, good view of the lake when I visited during morning hours. However won't recommend it during monsoon as there are no internal tar roads to move around, it will be very muddy and beware of mosquitoes as well. There is trash dumpyard beside the access road and you may experience foul smell. Good for one time Visit. However could be better maintained for people to have some quiet time near such a beautiful Pashan Lake.

Great place to be around for an early morning walk/run or visit in the evening during sunset. Many migratory birds also visit this lake and one can see a lot of flora n fauna in this area. Jogging track made around the lake, place for workout and place where even pets are allowed. Timings- 6-10am and 5-7pm

Beautiful place. Maintained lake and nearby property. Open Gym, serene lake and beautiful trail for a moderate walk along with lake. Evening timing is 4-6 so follow this if planning to go for a stroll during evening.

Great place near pashan. Fresh air, various types of birds and insects, also children friendly. Nicely maintained

Breath of fresh air to visit here. I will not compare and boast much, if you like a little hike and a fan of nature, you will love it, simply put. Due to rains, the pathway is muddy and you may not be able to explore till the end. Yet the walk is blissful with greenery and soaked old wooden benches and the whole clean air you will breathe. Must go places in Pune. Weekend was not as crowded so you will find good space and peace on those days too. Lake is seen only in glimpses. Ideal time would be winter to walk until the end but rains is more fun. Make sure to wear dirty and full clothing due to plant insects that may sting your legs if you walk from inner grassy sides like me.
