Parshwa Padmavathi Jain Temple - Jain temple in Elathagiri - Krishnagiri, India

I recently visited this Jain temple and was blown away by its beauty and serenity. The intricate carvings and decorations on the walls and ceilings were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere inside the temple made me feel calm and centered. The temple staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain the significance of the different deities and symbols in the temple. I also appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the Jain faith and its values of non-violence, compassion, and respect for all living beings. Overall, my experience at this Jain temple was truly inspiring and memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring the Jain faith or simply looking for a peaceful and uplifting place to visit. There is plenty of parking spaces. The food provided is also good. Negative Points: 1. The bathrooms are not clean. 2. Spaces where there are no trees should be planted with more trees.

Huge complex, well maintained.lotus ponds. Few temples still under construction. Appears Jains visit the most. Be aware any black dress, nor permitted in temple. Two of us could not visit as our pants were black and one of T shirt had traces of black. Could not find any pruhoits there and persons there are un responsive. If not visited, one will not miss anything. Would not categorise as must see.

It's still under construction but very peaceful.

Would luv to visit again & spend some more time and wish to meet GURUJI

Liked the temple very much, but they need to have parking near the temple so it will be easy for the elderly people.

This is an amazing place of worship. Very beautiful surroundings and peaceful temples. It has Gowshala (Cow welfare unit), multiple temples, temple food court, garden etc. Please don't wear black apparel of any sort while going to this temple. It is forbidden. And as always be responsible citizen and don't litter.

Shri Parshwa Padmavati temple in Krishnagiri is located on Chennai Bangalore highway. Temple trust has big land space, huge parking area. Black clothes are not allowed inside temple premise. Mulnayak is Parshwanath bhagwan here and this temple has beautiful idol of Devi Padmavati. Temple has bhojanshala and dharmashala for staying here. Temple area is usually very hot/bright sun and it is very difficult to walk. You need to visit kshtrapal nag devta temple first, after that bhomiya ji temple and after that main temple. Mulnayak pooja time is after 10am. Bhojanshala needs significant improvement, it is in a tin-shed and becomes extremely hot during lunch time. Cooking area and eating area needs better cleaning. Temple premise has goshala and many cows.

We visited this temple on the way back from Yelagiri. The temple was what you would expect. It was inside a large compound with a lengthy lotus pond. It was quite beautiful inside. Mobile phones are not allowed inside but as long as you keep it on silent and out of sight, it is fine. There is construction still going on. I guess it will be bigger by this time next year. There were a lot more people who were praying inside than I expected. It was pretty quiet and peaceful which was nice. Overall, this was a temple mostly like any other.
