Parmarth Niketan Ashram - Featured Reviews (15215)
A must visit place in rishikesh. A well maintained, clean and beautiful ashram. Situated near the ganga ghat. A clam, serene and cool place along with beautiful status. The garden has many amazing trees which are quite old and beautiful flowers.
Permarth Asram is situated on the ghaat of ganga maa. And there is shiv idol situated in ganga ji. Must visit place and must attand evening aarti which is performed by the student studying Vedas there and the main guru of ashram. Inside ashram you will see beautiful moortis of Krishna ji, shiv bhagwan and Leela statues. Exceptional greenery inside the ashram.
One of the peaceful place in India. This is situated near ganga river. Best time to visit is in the Evening as ganga aarti takes place in the evening time. This is the largest ashram in the rishikesh with over 1000+ rooms. Parmarth niketan provides a very clean and pure atmosphere with beautiful gardens. Parmarth Niketan is the home to 14feet Shiva statue on the banks of the Ganges which provides a perfect view to the ashram.
One of best place to visit in Rishikesh as you can spend very beautiful time with your friends and families as you will get very scenetic view of ganga river along with that evening aarti is also very fulfilling.
Definitely a must to visit place while in Rishikesh, but somehow lost its original essence and significance. One can definitely sense commercial activities and tourist influx here. I didn't find a peaceful atmosphere here due to the over gathering of tourists. Food is delicious here, must try ! For Ganga Aarti, huge gathering of crowd.

Rishikesh for me is Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Visiting there since I was just 6year old. Every year we go there in summer just to spend leisure time. Vibe is amazing, one will get peace. So, it is situated on the banks of River Ganga. This place is famous for it's evening Ganga Aarti. Me and my family every year we go to Rishikesh in summers and we always stay in Parmarth Niketan Ashram, we like this place alot. They have a canteen inside and food is just too good. The taste of food is same like home cooked food. They have different option for breakfast ,lunch and dinner daily. This place offers a comfortable stay as this place is so peaceful. Because of all these facilities in Parmath Niketan Ashram we always manage to stay there for more than 10days every year. Not only for Ganga Aarti, this place is well known for yoga also. It is one of the top yoga centers in India. Every year a huge yoga festival happens here around yoga day. Parmarth Niketan is a TRUE HEAVEN, everyone must visit there atleast once in their lifetime
